A continuous mix of several tracks. Battery Park was composed and recorded as a kind of elegy for NYC and 9/11. It sounds something like a pedal steel guitar but it's basically all Yahama FS1R, a synth that I sorely miss. Whenever I hear it I can clearly recall its creation and the events of the era replaying in our collective memories. Limb originally appeared on the Analogue Heaven compilation CD Lick the Envelope. I was recording under the name Limb and the track was actually called ( ). Several years later Sigur Ros released their seminal LP also entitled ( ).
Production note: there is considerable distortion at some points in this recording. They are quite intentional and not errors in the mastering process.
